STEPHANIE GREEN Missionary to Belfast, Northern Ireland with Youth With A Mission - Ireland
I will be working 2 days a week in a cafe. Doing community work (talking to people of all ages) and helping run an after school club, where elementary age kids go and get help with their homework.
I will be in charge of the communications department: Writing the YWAM Ireland newsletter every 3 months and gathering information about current and future projects.
I will also email past students from over the years to help them to stay connected with Belfast. This role also includes updating the website, writing blogs, and answering people’s questions about YWAM Ireland.
I will be working to promote missions! This involves going to Christian union meetings, Universities and youth groups in churches, speaking about God's call on Ireland to spread the gospel and recruit young people to do a gap year, or come into one of YWAM’s short term missions programs over the summer.
I will also be involved in YWAM Ireland’s Forgiveness curriculum: I will be a liaison with primary schools and share material with the teachers, so they can teach kids the curriculum that helps them deal with anger, conflict resolution, racism and hurts from the past.
And finally, I will be a staff member in the DTS, a discipleship training course. This includes mentoring girls, leading students into local outreaches, and helping plan and run the overseas outreach.
