Pastor Blake and Kristen Bush are the Lead Pastors at Third Day. Growing up in Colorado and Kansas, they each felt a call to pastoring at a young age. They met working for a Christian whitewater rafting company called Noah’s Ark. They were married in 1990 and have been serving the Body of Christ ever since, first as youth pastors , then as college pastors, and 5 years ago they helped plant Third Day . They have been blessed with four wonderful children: Zachary (15), Micaela (13), Caden (11), and Daxson (9). While Blake is leading the church, Kristen works as a part-time administrator for Third Day, in addition to substitute teaching. In their spare time, Blake loves to play the guitar, soccer, and pass the football with their boys, while Kristen enjoys cooking, playing racquetball with friends, and shopping with their daughter. Dinner out as a couple is one of their favorite activites. Blake oversees the leadership at Third Day and various ministries, and is the main preaching pastor. Kristen oversees the 3d Women’s Ministry. Their favorite part of pastoring is finding the unique giftedness in every believer and releasing them to walk more fully into their God-given destiny.
Pastor Jeff and Mary Beth Green are the Associate Pastors at Third Day. Jeff is a Minnesota native, while Mary Beth was raised here in Fort Collins. The two met in college at CSU and were married in 1989. They served as worship/youth pastors for 16 years before helping plant Third Day. They have 4 amazing children: Daniel (17), Sarah (15), Mariah (13), and Justin (11). Their two black labs, Latte and Mocha, give hint to one of the Green family’s passions: coffee! Jeff leads the worship ministry at Third Day, in addition to overseeing finances, the building, and youth ministry. Mary Beth is also in leadership over youth, women’s ministry, and prophetic ministry. She also works part-time as the office manager of a local dance studio. Jeff’s hobbies include fishing, paintball, and racquetball, while Mary Beth likes to play racquetball and coaches junior high basketball. They both love going on “dates” with their children and with one another. They are passionate about the amazing community God has created in the Body of Christ and believe every person has a significant part to contribute to the church and as a light to the world. Pastor Richard and Cherri Houle are part-time pastors at Third Day. In addition to their faithful service to the church, Richard works for Comcast full-time in business development. After meeting in bible college, they were married in 1986 and have been actively involved in church ministry ever since. They have 4 incredible children: Ben (17), Hannah (15), Caris (13), and Glory (11). Pastor Richard and Cherri have powerful prophetic and shepherding gifts and many people are continuously blessed by their tender love and care for the body at Third Day. They oversee children’s ministry, and the church experience from greeters to ushers, while providing leadership in many ministries of the church. They love spending time outdoors as a family in activities like camping, hiking, fishing and biking. Cherri loves all types of exercise, jewelry making, and bargain shopping. She especially loves finding treasures, like old china and silver pieces. The strength and beauty of God’s design of marriage is one of their passions as a couple. Their favorite part of pastoring is seeing God do mighty and powerful things through ordinary vessels, transformed through relationship with Him.
