Declaration of Interdependence
This document was writen at the very beginning of Third Day as a statement of identity, and attitude towards the body of Christ. It has helped form who we are. In particular we discern that the prevailing attitude in our region, and even nation, is one of INDEPENDENCE. Hence, people isolate themselves from other believers, and churches isolate themselves from other churches. There is a danger in independence. God has called us to be a body who works together. The church, as we define it, is "A body of believers, AND gifts of the Spirit, in relationship with each other, working together to accomplish God's purpose upon the earth."
