Bible Study: Starting next Sunday
The Sr. Highers will escape from service next Sunday to watch a movie that will be the basis of a Bible study two times a month. After this Sunday, the Bible study will take place after the singing part of worship.
Sunday, March 6 - This kick off study will take place during the entire worship service. It starts at 10:05am at the Bush’s house
1519 Cedarwood Dr. We will have transportation available at the church. Or, Sr. Highers you can just head to the Bush’s house.

Father Son Backpacking Trip
We are excited to let you know of a great father/son backpacking trip June 30—July 4. We will head out of town after work on Thursday and head to the Williams cabin. Friday morning we will head to the Zirkel Wilderness area and be back in time for fireworks on the 4th. Detail coming soon.
Sr. and Jr. High Youth
Vedauwoo Rock climbing trip
Called the ’sweetest climbing area in the front range’ you won’t want to miss a day of rock climbing and hangin’ out. The date is tentatively set for Saturday, June 18th. Family members are welcome to join the Sr. and Jr. High group.
Jr. High Youth
Servant-Leadership Group -
Starting Wednesday night, March 16th Blake is going to be raising up a core group of youth and adults. We will meet on Presence Keepers night from 7:00-8:30. This servant leadership group will basically go through the Expedition Series, geared for youth to help them find their destiny in Christ Jesus!
Topics include…
- Getting a vision for church life for youth.
- Learning Biblical servant-leadership.
- Discovering your spiritual gifts, passions, and calling.
- Learning ways to serve and lead.
- Teaching about the Holy Spirit and spiritual gifts including the bap tism of the Holy Spirit and godly character.
- We will pray prophetically over the kids to unlock their destiny.
- We will learn how to plan for the future and equip them to live a life of victory, holiness, and service in the kingdom.
- Getting a vision for world missions and a life of ministry.
- We will have specific teaching on…
- How to pray for the sick.
- How to lead someone to Christ.
- How to defend your faith.
- How to be on fire for Jesus Christ!
The activities we will accomplish...
- We will put together a youth group meeting geared for outreach—
possibly one or two Friday nights a month.
- We will put together a youth retreat.
- We will plan and carry out youth fellowship activities.
- Put together several ‘Collision” nights of worship and prayer.
Jr. High Youth Band
Starting next Monday, March 7th we will have worship band practice for Jr. Highers from 4:00—5:30pm at the church. If you sing or play an instrument, join us! Some of the band has already gathered and will be doing a song at our talent show! We want to raise up worshipers at Third Day.
Bible Study
The Jr. Highers will also jump out of service the second Sunday of the month for a Bible Study led by Ryan and Molly McCann. The first one will be March 20th and will start just after the singing part of worship. We will let you know of the April dates at a later date!
